The production value on this one may not be Hollywood, but the idea behind it is exactly why I’ve made room for it on my portfolio. Sometimes…emails and calls just don’t do the trick when you REALLY want that meeting. That is where a creative person (or in this case creative team) comes in handy. When a new Hyatt was opening in Greenville, SC and Southeastern Products, a Whipp client, desperately wanted a meeting with management…we got a little creative. We took out a full page ad in the newspaper with perfect placement (the page just after the announcement about the opening of the hotel). We created a microsite with one video on it, below. It worked. Southeastern Products got the meeting and I got a good story to tell about creative thinking.
